"تتطلع عائلة قاسم تاج الدين إلى عودته إلى لبنان في المستقبل القريب. في 27 مايو 2020 ، وافق القاضي ريجي والتون على إطلاق سراحه لأسباب إنسانية بسبب مخاطر كوفيد على حياته إذا بقي في السجن. نحن ممتنون للسلطات اللبنانية والأمريكية لتسهيل عودته إلى الوطن.

The family of Kassim Tajideen is looking forward to his return to Lebanon in the very near future. On 27 May 2020, Judge Reggie Walton agreed to release him on compassionate grounds because of the risks of Covid on his life should he remain in prison. We are grateful to the Lebanese and US authorities for facilitating his return home."
